Project Summary

Merging Science with Skin Care®

The Personal Care Device with a Camera System(Pretika beauty device) can be controlled or monitored by an app(Pretika App) that is running on a mobile or pad device. Pretika app will provide the following functionalities: 1. Power on or off the Pretika device; 2. Taking before and after photos, display photos singularly or side-by-side view; 3. Calculate and monitor the essential measurements, such as the depth of wrinkles and fine lines, epidermal layer exfoliation, hydration, and provide detailed images for evaluation. Pretika beauty device also includes a computer configured to receive the data from the app. User can easily connect their device to a mobile device with Bluetooth or WiFi.

Pretika beauty device is working with the web CMS platform to input the educational information, historical data, photos, and will allow the user to make notes comparing results with topical and other treatments used in conjunction with the device. Instructions for the user manual, the company/brand information, where to purchase Pretika product with links to the online/offline (retail) or other content onto an application programming interface (API). Pretika app will be supported on IOS or Android system and will pull in the data using the API.

A computer chip will include a wireless receiver / other similar component adapted for receiving the commands sent from the API or from the network on which Pretika device is connected. This chip also includes a transmitter for transmitting information to the API or to the network on which Pretika device is connected. This chip will post status and data about its current functioning state to the API or to the network on which Pretika device is connected.

This wireless transmitter and receiver will allow the device to connect with a WiFi modem so that it will enable the device to transmit and receive signals over the internet with a cloud server which will act as an intermediary between the device and the web CMS platform that is used for maintaining the API.

CMS can control the images taken with educational information and manage the eCommerce section of the mobile app. CMS can save data to an API database. The app can retrieve the data collected by the CMS to the API database.

The calculations for measuring and analytics (historical) + storage all cloud based using code in APP. Content management system (CMS) of the personal care device with a camera system operating on a mobile device will use a cloud based graphical user interface (GUI) for the CMS and various features of the CMS.
